Heavyweight bleeps ’n bloops have landed at Skiptrace courtesy of reCAPTCHA.

His Inconsistent Behaviour EP captures the seminal vibes and emotions conjured from Detroit Electro and places them in a modern context. Its crisp and tight percussive grooves playfully weave between otherworldly melodies and melty 303 lines.

reCAPTCHA’s secretive nature doesn’t hide his sharp skill levels and innate ability to produce music for the dance. ‘Inconsistent Behaviour’, the title track owes its trippy aura to its ethereal pads, underpinned by a gnarly bass and acid lines - certainly on for the heads. ‘Restless’ brings us down from the highs of the first track, it’s chugging bassline and mischievous 303 melody are placed alongside a cosmic soundscape, created by the airy pads. ‘Across the Line’ continues on the EP’s transcendental journey, trippy vocals and melodies are the backbone of this banger that sets the tone for the final track of the EP. ‘Caverns’ is arguably the grooviest tune of the EP, its skippy breakbeat plays off the walking bass and its squelching 303 confirms you are, and have always been in an extraterrestrial sound system.
